Pegs in Pilot magazine
Great to see our two-seat Hurricane ‘Pegs’ making the front cover of Pilot magazine this month (September). Pick up a copy to find out how editor Philip got on (spoiler alert I think he enjoyed himself!).

Just in case you missed it, here is a link to watch Mike taking This Morning‘s Dermot O’Leary flying in our two-seat Hurricane “Pegs”. The film promotes this weekends Imperial War Museum Duxford Summer air show where both our Hurricanes will be featuring!
I think he eloquently summed up how we and everyone feel when we’re privileged enough to fly these special aircraft. I think he loved every moment!
What an incredible way to kick off the 2023 season with our first passenger in his birthday week – Bernard Gardiner, who just turned 101! Hurricane and Typhoon veteran, Bernard flew 71 combat operations in the Typhoon. The flight took place from Imperial War Museum Duxford and was in support of the Hawker Typhoon RB396 fundraiser. More information can be found about the project and how to support it here: www.hawkertyphoon.com
For all the team this was a huge privilege to get Bernard up above the clouds in the Hurricane once again.

The new season is nearly upon us, and we are pleased to say both Hurricanes have now successfully completed their post maintenance shakedown flights out of the Aircraft Restoration Company Duxford. Our first event is this coming Saturday (1st April) working with our friends at Hawker Typhoon RB396.
Here’s a video of R4118 to whet your appetite:
Just in case you’ve missed it so far, the superb the Imperial War Museum Duxford Hurricane ‘Unsung hero’ exhibition is still running until the end of the weekend. You’ll get to see the rare sight of seven airworthy Hurricanes together including our very own BE505 and R4118 of course.
Once the exhibition is finished, we’ll be awakening our Hurricanes out of hibernation in preparation for the fast-approaching season.

Hurricane Heritage runs flight operations from the beautiful and historic White Waltham Airfield.
The airfield has a long and illustrious history, dating back to 1935 when the de Havilland family acquired the land and formed the de Havilland School of Flying. Home to the Air Transport Auxiliary during the war, it's now a friendly and active aerodrome with great facilities.
