Hurricane Heritage ATA Photography Day

Event Date: 24th May 2024

We are pleased to be teaming up with Darren Harbar to offer a very special photography day on Friday 24th May 2024. White Waltham Airfield has an incredible history as the home of the Air Transport Auxiliary during WWII. Our aim is to re-create the look of the airfield during those bygone days with our Hurricanes R4118 and BE505, plus Harvard FE511 alongside period vehicles and ATA re-enactors. For more information and to book your place, click here or give us a call.

FIND HURRICANE HERITAGE

Hurricane Heritage runs flight operations from the beautiful and historic White Waltham Airfield.

The airfield has a long and illustrious history, dating back to 1935 when the de Havilland family acquired the land and formed the de Havilland School of Flying. Home to the Air Transport Auxiliary during the war, it's now a friendly and active aerodrome with great facilities.
